ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
When Brenda and the Tabulations teamed up with producer Van McCoy, the sparks flew and created a firestorm of hits that included \"Right On the Tip of My Tongue,\" \"A Part of You,\" and \"A Child No One Wanted,\" all on this CD, in addition to the pre-Van McCoy hit, \"The Touch of You.\" McCoy\'s sophisticated songs and productions combined with Brenda\'s expressive, vulnerable voice to make a soulful sound and a string of hits, all on this CD. Songs never before on CD include \"A Love You Can Depend On,\" Why Didn\'t I Think of That\" and \"To the One I Love.\"

Great Group
Brenda and the Tabulations were a really good group, and Brenda had a better voice than Diana Ross. The Supremes had more hits because they were with a better label. No one could beat Motown at their game. They had the best machine going, white or black when it came to pushing their artists and the sound that they created. But Brenda and the Tabulations were a really good gut bucket R&B group with aspirations. But where is "Dry Your Eyes" their big hit from 1967?
