Album Notes

Dean Fearing and Robert Del Grande are known as the \"Godfathers of Southwestern Cuisine\"
and are the masterminds behind some of the most highly-acclaimed restaurants in Texas.
Cooking brought them together, but these two award-wining chefs bonded through music.
The two guitarists had years of playing experience under their belts before they met more than twenty years ago. They\'ve been writing songs and playing together as the Barbwires ever since.

For their debut CD, \"Bliss and Blisters\",
Fearing and Del Grande prove they are as adept in music
as they are in the kitchen. All the tracks on the CD are co-written and performed by the duo, demonstrating their considerable skills and versatility in styles ranging from
straight-ahead rock and roll to country rock. Joining them on \"Broken Spoke\" is Richie Furay, founding member of Buffalo Springfield and Poco.
Also featured on the CD are Mickey Raphael, long-time harmonica player with Willie Nelson, and Johnny Reno,
tenor saxophonist extraordinaire.
