As long as Aaron can remember music has been a part of his life. From piano at age four all the way until today it has been a central focus. Growing up in Yakima, WA Aaron’s high school rock band gained regional notoriety playing at local festivals and community events as well as headlining many local concerts. These experiences solidified his passion to use music to influence today’s culture. Aaron followed that passion to Pacific Lutheran University where he studied sociology and music and ministered at a growing campus ministry called “The Well.” It was at PLU that Aaron began to grow intensely as a musician and worship leader. Aaron believes that Christian music has taken a back seat in society for too long and Aaron’s desire is to use the instrument of music and worship to bring honor to the Lord. Aaron states, “Worship is the foundation that everything else in our relationship with the Lord is built on.” The driving force behind Aaron's music is a deep passion for the Lord and for all to know Jesus personally. This is evident in the songs he writes and the music he plays. Aaron has been leading worship for over 15 years and was a part of pioneering New Song City Central in Tacoma, Washington in 1997. Aaron graduated with a BA from PLU and completed a Masters in Theology from Faith Seminary in 2007. In May of 2009 he joined YWAM, working in Perth Australia for about 10 months with outreaches in South Africa, Singapore, and Malaysia. In March of 2010 Aaron relocated to work with the University of Nations in Kona, HI. He is working with the Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) in Kona doing outreaches in different parts of the world including current works in Thailand and Cambodia. Aaron and his wife Ronda reside in Kailua Kona with their three children Jacob, Ariel, and Hailey
