The Barnacled is comprised of members from such local supergroups as The Eyesores, V Majestic, Octopandoganal Duo, Nicotina and The Flower Gang.
The Barnacled's sound is that of a beautifully composed train wreck. They play an avant garde style of jazz similar at points to the Lounge Lizards but with reckless, daring moments that remind one of Landed in some strange way.

The album runs all over the place from child like glee to the difficult horror that a 37 year old may experience after shitting in his pants in a grocery store.
