Album Notes

Jeff Barnes second release Blue Skies And Easy Times has raised the bar again and it is evident in each of the thirteen songs on this project. Written ,Recorded and produced by Jeff Barnes in the Lonely Track Studios in Kentucky this project has taken two years to complete. The drum tracks were performed by longtime friend and drummer Pat Jacobs.
Song #6 Other Side features longtime friend and vocalist Melinda Hall doing the vocal work.
All other instruments on the cd including electric and acoustic guitars,ganjo,mandolin,bass,piano,vocals,back ground vocals,jaw harp,shakers,and ebow were all played by Jeff Barnes.
From Redneck Lovesong to Honor and Liberty the project has a fun side and a serious heart felt side as well ,and then theres the very funny song Gotta Poop that you will agree we have all felt like this at one time or another but hate to admitt it.
Overall this cd is another glimpse into the magic of songwriting that is Jeff Barnes.
