"One of the most exciting and unique talents I have come across in my 50 years in show business" - Sir Cliff Richard.
"A voice not just for today, but for many tomorrows" - Don Black, Oscar winning lyricist.
Barratt Waugh is a special talent with an unique voice, who first came to the UK's attention when he featured on a number of prime time TV shows after being discovered performing in a shopping centre in the North of England. Following his success on these shows, he went on to perform 90 dates at the Royal Albert Hall with Sir Cliff Richard and features on two of his live DVDs which sold in excess of a million copies in the UK, Australia and across the globe and is still listed in the Guiness Book of Records.
With a superb baritone timbre, a 3 and a half octave range, and ability to deliver every song in his own inimitable way Barratt never fails to silence a room and command raptuous applause.
Warner Classics and Jazz UK released Barratt's album "I Love You, Goodbye" across Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia and the U.S.A and was declared QVC America's fastest selling album for a debut artist since the birth of the channel, selling out in 10 minutes! Atlantic Records picked up on one of the tracks, "A TIME FOR US' and released a club version with Robbier Rivera, which made Number 14 in the Billboard Club play chart.
In association with the ABC (Anti Bullying Campaign) UK, Barratt also took time out to perform at more than 100 UK schools to over 100,000 youngsters, performing and spreading their important message.
After taking an extended holiday, Barratt fell in love withAustralia and the Australian people, so much so that he has already worked with Aussie artist Paris Wells, featuring in her latest video clip "Let's Get It Started" and is currently writing and recording other projects with the incredible Luc Floreani (theme for Today Tonight). Barratt's next album will be available around April 2012 in Australia, aswell as other territories.
Barratt has appeared live alongside artists such as Blue, Freddie Starr, Lulu, Elaine Paige, Russell Watson, Darren Hayes (Savage Garden) and the previously mentioned, and ever-supportive Sir Cliff Richard.
