Barrio Plays Urban Folkmusic from South America. Tango, Vals, Guajira, Bolero are styles Barrio are familiar with. The fact that they operate in the city of Bergen on the west coast of Norway makes them an interesting documentation of musical interculturisation and can truly be called world music.The Record containing old rare material from the Tango and Vals repertoire, also brings on the tradition with Boleros and Guajiras composed by Barrio in Bergen.
