BARRY FONE writes music brimming with emotion and passion,
while his gentle, sincere vocal delivery soothes and comforts the delicate and often mysterious female heart. The music of Barry Fone runs the full emotional gamut, from the deepest, most profound declarations of love to the more "fun" aspects of relationships depicted in the bluegrass-flavored "Second Conversation" or the rock-flavored "Sandbox", to the relief of finally letting go of a bad relationship in the spirited, upbeat "Give an Inch"

His signature orchestra song, "Gentle For You", continues to melt hearts across the country some 10 years after it was written, while "In the Next Life" offers hope of the perfect future romance that cannot take place now as desired. "Twenty Four Seven" expresses gratitude and appreciation of newfound happiness, while "Now You Say it's Over" accepts the painful knowledge of a love allowed to

As Barry writes many styles, it is not easy to categorize
or classify his music into any one genre. He calls upon many, many influences comprising most overall genres, with the subject of love working as a common thread to unify and
couch his many flavors into one tasty package. Listeners

their familiar comfort zone before departing.

Barry Fone plays many instruments including guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, mandolin, pedal steel guitar and violin. To date, Barry has never hired outside help to compose,
record and produce his music, and continues to "do it all"
like many other independent artists.

Growing up in St. Louis, Mo., Barry met and performed with many local bands before turning his attentions to songwriting in the late 1990's. His very fist submissions
to the Billboard Song Contest yielded two awards in 2002, and that number has risen to five with "Twenty Four Seven"
ranking in the top 500 from songs submitted from all over
the world,in the year of 2006.

His performance history includes working with actor Kevin Bacon's cousin Robert (a rising country star), Billy Peek (former Rod Stewert guitarist, now a St. Louis blues legend) and composing arrangements for lesser-known artists
and lyricists for hire. His recent move to beautiful Prescott Valley, AZ was accompanied by a promise made to himself to devote all his passions and energies to songwriting and promoting his music.

Barry Fone's last 10 years of work and dedication are captured faithfully on "Songs of Love, Longing and Passion". with his second CD due for release before the end of year 2006. This second CD will feature more songs in the country genre, with his signature orchestra style remaining the primary emotional force on several others.
