Album Notes

If you are discovering Barry's music for the first time,
don't start with this CD!

Instead we suggest "Teachers Favorites," "Family Trip," "Old Dogs, New Tricks" or "A Little Different."

This CD originally came out in 1975 and is for dedicated fans only - those people who grew up on this recording. The songs are edgy and some of the references are dated. Barry says he only knew four guitar chords when he recorded this album and only used three of them on the record because he didn't want to show off. We think it's off-the-wall and Barry thinks it's off-key.

Funny!

New to Barry Louis Polisar - discovered due to a TV advert his song "Me and You" was used for, also "All I want is you" (Old Dogs New Tricks) used in movie Juno. Love his quirky style and genuinely funny lyrics. My baby son has just started to giggle - I can see him growing up to love these songs, you just feel happy listening and singing along to them.

My children loved this album when they were little. Now we're introducing it to our next generation. They love it as much as their aunts and uncles did.
