Pray to the Father, Pray to the Son

by Barry Mack

Imagine sitting in a blues club. The stage is hidden somewhere behind the bar. You can hear the music but can't see the band. You look around at the crowd swaying to the music and tapping their feet. That's what listening to this album is like.

ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Recorded live off the floor, "Pray To The Father, Pray To The Son" offers listeners the honest gritty sound that we love about the Blues.

Nova Scotia Blues Artist Barry Mack has been playing his semi-acoustic, root-traditional, delta blues style around Canada and Europe for the past 10 years. Mack’s CD “Pray to the Father, Pray to the Son”, recorded straight-off-the-floor showcases his excellent son-writing skills, his powerful, strong haunting voice and earned him an ECMA Nomination for “Blues Artist of the Year”. While on the road, he released a DVD Entitled “Live on the Night” and recently finished a cross country tour with The Tailsman Blues Band. Mack is currently working on a new recording scheduled for release in 2012.
