ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
UPDATE 12-28-2012 - Recently two boxes of ALL OF ME were discovered buried deep in a closet. So to my great delight I now have sixty signed and numbered first edition cd's remaining for sale. Please be patient while I work with cdbaby to get these available as soon as possible for YOU.

DEDICATED TO THE MEMORY OF WARNER/ELECTRA Recording Artist JOHN A CAMPBELL.

December 1996 - On many a bitter cold night in the middle of Spokane, Washington by the railroad tracks on the fourth floor of a really old building we recorded this. It was a huge challenge for me to perform all the parts. It was an even bigger challenge for New York Sound Engineer John Salvo to capture it on his analog 16 track and mix it all together. Somehow we did it and it turned out great. I thought alot about John Campbell during these sessions.

RECENT REVIEWS: Singer/songwriter/actor Johnny Bartee has been producing quality music as part of the Austin, Texas music scene for some time and his songs “Come on With It”, “Take it Down”, and “These Blues” combine blues and rock in a way that makes you want to see his live show. Johnny Bartee plays on Sundays at The Trail House in Austin and here with us on IMRadio. MC Rydel @ www.imradio.com/johnnybartee

I play guitar, drums, bass and sing. I also play keyboards and compose original music. I've acted in network television and studio feature films. I've been playing music for decades and I've had the great fortune of playing with some incredible players. As a teenager I was lucky enough to spend several years learning the Blues from a real blues master, deceased Warner/Elektra recording artist JOHN CAMPBELL. I've recorded with Campbell's former bassist JIMMY PETTIT and drummer extraordinaire BRIAN SEBASTIAN for Pettit's latest release VEGAS HOTEL. I've played with the legendary OZMO BOOGIE BAND and many other awesome players out of the Pacific Northwest. I've performed on guitar with Austinite WARREN HOOD for the feature film AMERICAN OUTLAWS. I've shared the stage with amazing players such as AL HAYES, DOYLE BRAMHALL II, KEITH FERGUSON, DOUG SAHM, PAUL ORTA, HOWARD MCLAUGHLIN, RON WOOD, LEN BOYKIN, STEVE WRIGHT, TOM DORMAN, STEVE FORMBY, BRUCE PYLE, W.C CLARK, BUGS HENDERSON, DAVID SPANN, JEFF ANDERSON, POCO FALCON, DEE PURKEYPILE, STEVE BIGLER, CANNED HEAT, HANS OLSON, CHUCK HALL, JIM "THE BOSSMAN" BROWN, TIM LANGFORD, PAT COAST, SAMMY EUBANKS, JOHN CARSTON, KEN FORTNER, DANA REID OLIVER, Newell Ramsey and so many others too numerous to list. I'm thankful to them all.
