'Tell it to the Wheels,' the second release from this fiery young artist, has been met with a wave of high praise.
It is intimately intense, swinging from painfully quiet retreats to cathartic full band blasts.
The Albuquerque Weekly calls Ms. Bartley 'the next folk savior to watch...a storyteller in the truest sense.'
The L.A.Weekly calls her 'a prolific songwriter who envelops her listeners in the ebb and flow of her life, while maintaining a universal appeal in her observational, poetic lyrics.'
Performing Songwriter Magazine says 'Tell it to the Wheels' is 'fragile and strong in all the right ways.'

Listen and listen to this cd and watch how it grows to be better and more important to you, as listener.
For over a year this album as been a key to the line-up in my radio shows. I have found bartley's music to be uplifting, confronting and at times comforting.
In the song DETROIT, i have found it almost an antheme for the small town that I have lived in the last few years.
In another song STRANGER, the lines are uplifting in it's story of courage, and on several occasions this song has provoked calls from of interested listeners.
I highly recommend this CD for anyone.

Great CD from start to finish

I love this CD!
I saw Deborah Bartley perform solo shortly after this CD was released and the CD has been one of my favorites ever since. "Blossom" really jams. "Fire", "Legs", and "Good Soldier" are so catchy you will be singing them all day long. "Dumbstruck" is so sweet in a first-love kind of way, and "Pieces" is sweet and sad and wonderful. All the songs are great! This CD is the best!
