In a noisy world filled with sounds and images, we cry out for an authentic voice - one who will speak truth and purpose to a generation. In singer/songwriter Francesca Battistelli, we have found that voice.

With an upbeat message of fresh hope, this stunning young woman sings of her passion for life and God and her determined purpose to be all He intended her to be. In the title track of her debut album "Just a Breath" she sings, "I want to be caught up in you, I'm standing on the edge of tomorrow, and I want to live my life in your shoes, for I am just a breath..."

Her voice evokes the power and aching soulfulness of Eva Cassidy while her songs capture the flair and originality of John Mayer. At nineteen, she's taken on a big role as the sole writer and co-producer of her first full-length album. She effortlessly weaves stories that catch your ear while captivating your heart. Ivan's Song, which was birthed out of a friend's tragic loss, speaks life and hope to the broken-hearted. "God has a purpose in every plan," she sings, "even when we can't understand."

Influences of jazz and gospel, rock and R&B saturate her music with rich and expressive style. From the sophisticated jazz feel of Kings Out of Fools to the rock infused I'm Here, Francesca Battistelli's music crosses boundaries. "I want my album to be the first thing people listen to in the morning. It's the kind of music that puts you in the right mindset for the day and encourages you to go for it, pursue your dreams and take risks. I'm like a coach on the sidelines cheering you on. I believe in you, God believes in you and you have a big purpose. Find what you're good at and do it the best way you know how!" she says.
