"The Battlin' Bluebirds - it is a blend like no other in San Francisco...they are a refreshing reminder that no matter what your age is or who you are, if it’s in your soul, you can rock. Tonights performance was indeed hard rockin’ with solid playing by lead guitarist Jeni Day, driving bass by Katharine Cole, clearly in her element, and sitting in for band member and drummer Robin Roth was Katrine Spang-Hanssen who brought the whole thing together. And then there was Maria who with the moves of a true rocker chick, blew down the house...Each member of the band is talented on their own. Each one has a huge resume filled with different bands, hundreds of gigs, recordings, tours. They come together creating a synergy of their professionalism and the pleasure is all ours. I don’t give stars but if I did I would give them a 5 star rating this night. They rocked." BAMS, W. Simmons
