Album Notes

Produced and arranged by Chip Mergott, "Mugsy is Fine" features songs about love, faith and life in a big family (Annie is one of eleven children.) Philadelphia folk music guru Gene Shay says: "Annie will charm and touch you with her music." The original version of "Remember When We Were Just Friends," which is currently featured on the Rounder compilation, "On a Winter's Night" produced by Christine Lavin, is included here, as is Annie's masterpiece "Blueberry Pancakes," the same version that's the lead off cut of the Lavin produced Appleseed collection "One Meatball."
"Sing Out," the legendary folk music magazine writes: "This is the kind of album family and friends will love."
Annie has often been featured on WXPN's "Kid's Corner" and "Sleepy Hollow," and has played many venues in the Philadelphia area such as the Tin Angel, the North Star Bar, and the Sellersville Theater. Besides headlining their own shows, Annie and her husband Chip have appeared with Livingston Taylor, Christine Lavin, Richard Shindell, Tom Chapin, Cliff Eberhardt, and Catie Curtis, among many others.
