Album Notes

John Baxter started out playing guitar, and later began playing the mandolin. He has been publishing the Mandozine Web site for 11 years, and also broadcasts mandolin music on Mandozine Radio. John discovered the joy of the ukulele a couple of years ago, and created UkeFarm to support the uke community. He broadcasts ukulele music on UkeFarm Radio 24 hours a day.

The ukulele is considered one of the easiest instruments to learn, but has the ability to be used for a range of styles and complex tunes. John performs instrumentals on tenor uke that cover jazz standards, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, gypsy jazz, and Dawg music. The simplicity of the uke combined with the complexity of jazz standards and pop tunes provides a unique listening experience.
