"Live at The Cutting Room" is the follow-up to Bayne's self titled first album, "Bayne Gibby" (also available on CD Baby!). Bayne plays her hilarious, original comedic songs all over NYC. For show info, please visit www.baynegibby.com.
A singer and comedian, Bayne Gibby grew up in New Jersey, but swears she has never had big hair or a fondness for malls.
She spent her youth singing along to the soundtrack to the musical "Annie" much to the dismay of neighbors who were sick of hearing about the "hard knock life" from a block away.
As a teenager, Bayne became obsessed with the beautiful and sad songs of Joni Mitchell and was inspired to pen her first song which began: "I was walkin' down the road/ a voice called out to me/ I thought, Who in the hell can that possibly be?"
Bayne's funny and unapologetic songs will have you humming along in no time.
Bayne has opened for Saturday Night Live cast members Will Ferrell, Colin Quinn and Horatio Sanz at a benefit for the WATER theater company in NYC.
Heidi Hickman of my www.mypersonalsalon.com writes, "'Up and comer' Bayne Gibby brought down the house with a set of comic songs that is right up there with anything Adam Sandler has done... I am sure you'll be seeing her everywhere soon!"
Most recently, Bayne appeared on COMEDY CENTRAL PRESENTS "Out on the Edge", an hour long special, hosted by Alan Cumming which premiered Feb 2, 2004.

The next best thing to seeing her perform live is hearing this CD. Brilliant! And, if you think the titles say it all, then you haven't heard the songs. Buy it NOW!

C'mon, everybody sing! Bayne Gibby is guaranteed to get you out of any funk your crabby self can dream up. Oh yes, the girl is FUNNY. This live set captures the gleeful atmosphere of a Gibby gig--if you can't be there in person (which I highly recommend, even if you have to steal your mama's car), then this will give you a taste.

Wickedly Wonderful, Witty and (be)Witching!

This album became an instant favorite for me...sometimes, laughter really is the best medicine for a crazy world, and Bayne delivers plenty of side-splittingly funny (and wickedly insightful) messages with her songs. What stood out perhaps as much as her unique way of turning a phrase was the sheer power Bayne possesses in her voice! I've recommended this album to several friends already, and we're anxious to hear what's next for Bayne Gibby.

Great sound for a live CD! This is the CD that contains Dear John, as performed on Comedy Central's Out on the Edge. Geeze, is it right to have a crush on someone who you've never met?? She's brilliant, and her songs hit home one right after the other. There are a couple of repeats from her debut CD, but the addition of Uglier Friends, Gambled & Lost, Cameltoe, and (of course) Dear John makes it worth owning both! Bayne, if you ever find yourself in Denver....
