*******Bio -
This is Beautiful Bobby's first CD. He gained many new blues fans from this 2002 "I'm Dialin 911" CD. (Check it out at www.cdbaby.com/bbb). All the songs on this CD are originals. He has a fan base in Florida and the tourists that visit from other countries are making more people around the world aware of this relatively new bluesman with the "sit back and let me entertain you" attitude.

His band currently works the Central Florida area appearing at clubs, festivals & private parties. Bobby plays, blues, soul and funk music. He does the vocals and guitar work.

Beautiful Bobby's other CDs include:, Travelin' Home, release date was January 1, 2005 and Yeah Baby-Chillin With The Blues, release date March 2011.

Bobby was one of the headliners on the November 2004 Riverwalk Blues Festival in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl and shared the stage with the likes of: Buddy Guy, Kenny Neal, Jimmy Thackery, Tab Benoit, Billy Branch, James Cotton, Marcia Ball, etc.

Performance Review: Riverwalk Blues Festival NOV' 2004:
As far as I am concerned, the next act I saw, a relative unknown outside the southeastern part of the country, was the festival's highlight. When the Blues world finally discovers Beautiful Bobby Blackmon, it will be a better world. Bobby's story is similar to that of Jody Williams. Like Jody, Bobby worked at a white-collar corporate job for many years. It was not until he retired from that environment that he was able to dedicate his full attention to the music. Well, let me tell you, he is catching up fast. Remember that you read it hear first when I tell you that Beautiful Bobby Blackmon is the next Buddy Guy. He's got it all going, the stage presence, the personality, the smile, and the talent. Damn can he play!

January 2005 - Bobby jammed on The Passenger Star Search segment of Warren Hill's Smooth Jazz Cruise and turned a lot of those fans onto the blues. They will never be the same.

September - 2005 Review - Headliner for the Ft. Pierce Jazz/Blues Society "Street Party" - Ft. Pierce, Fl.....
"Following "THE SHAKERS", which was not an enviable task, was the events headliner - "BEAUTIFUL BOBBY BLACKMON". As BBB was taking the stage, it was pointed out to me by Vern Melvin, one of our band selection committee members, that "BOBBY had better have his A game with him having to follow that", as Vern referred to the hot set "THE SHAKERS" had just put on. As it turned out, "BEAUTIFUL BOBBY BLACKMON had his A+ game with him. BBB confidently took the stage and did what he always does - he tore the place up. His vocals were sharp, his guitar playing was blistering and his stage presence was energetic. BOBBY had the 500 or so people that were still present all on their feet and shaking in the street. Had BOBBY not put a 30 year white collar career ahead of his music, the two top names in the blues today may very well read like this... B.B. and B.B.B. Joining BOBBY on vocals and lead guitar were the rest of the "B3 BLUES BAND" - His longtime friend and band mate JACK BUMGARNER on piano, JOHN CHARCARA on bass, and JAMES "CADILLAC" CARDARELLI on drums".

As BEAUTIFUL BOBBY BLACKMON'S set, and the whole night came to an end, it was apparent that this end was also a beginning - the beginning of THE FT. PIERCE JAZZ AND BLUES SOCIETY.....

Bobby is great!
A group of us saw Bobby live in Mt. Dora a couple months ago and think he's fabulous - the CD is even better!

Original and Best
Never purchased a Blues CD before, but after seeing Bobby in Mount Dora in June I had to buy. This is the most catchy and best CD I have brought this year. I am wearing it out.
My favorite track - Trying to forget about yesterday. Keep it going Bobby

T-man

Very original and one of a kind
A great work of art from a fabulous showman and bluesman! Central Florida is certainly lucky to have such a rich treasure as Bobby- "keeping them blues alive". I enjoy every show I see of his, and if this CD can capture just a piece of what his total talent is, "you got yourself one hell of a deal!!" Thanks Bobby!!

911 : HOT , TRAVELIN' HOME : ON FIRE !!!!!!
Yes 911 is all that I heard it to be. I picked-up Travelin' Home when Bobby and his band ( new bassplayer is great ) played Aug. 21st. This cd is deep, high and funky. Love it.

Outstanding ballards, honest blues and real showmanship.
If you like catchy ballards thsi is the right spot. Songs like "Trying to forget about yesterday" and Holding On to sweet memories" will stay in your mind. Just good blues with both upbeat and memorable tunes.

Pete Sargeant - Blues Matters! magazine

Soul Blues with heart and humour
On this record, Bobby chooses to explore the sly, mellow and funky side of his wide range of Blues styles. Though he touches on lost romance, illicit affairs and general heartbreak, his streak of optimisim and self-depracating humour shine through. And just check the snappy guitar runs that pepper this set. Little Milton - watch out !

Fantastic CD! Bobby is the greatest!
This CD brings out all of Bobby's moods and is one of the greatest blues CDs ever. This is what Beatiful Bobby sounds like in person and it just doesn't get any better!

A great blues CD mixed with soul and humor
If you believe that the blues can be fun, then Mr. Blackmon's music is guaranteed to make you smile. The first time I heard this CD, I had to get my guitar out and play along! Then as I listened to the words, I realized that Mr. Blackmon has a great sense of humor also.
There is a mix of sounds here from BB King to Lou Rawls, but it's a great mix that is truly original.
Beautiful Bobby B ;the B stands for Blues!
