Big Bo and the Biscuit Eaters is a distinctly different band. Their blend of classic rock 'n roll and contemporary Christian music keeps them unique in the music field. They perform in public and private schools, at community supporting events and fund-raisers for positive life choice organizations, as well private functions and churches. They are dedicated to performing positive, family-friendly music that everyone can enjoy.
From the early days, Big Bo and the Biscuit Eaters have been working in schools promoting their exciting anti-drug, positive life choice program that combines high-energy rock 'n roll with communication from local law enforcement agencies.
In May 2007, Big Bo and the Biscuit Eaters, Inc. was granted a non-profit status with the state of Iowa and received their federal tax-exemption in March of 2008. (Yes, donations are now tax-deductible!) Big Bo and the Biscuit Eaters is governed by a Board of Directors. Though most of their activities are based around musical performances, Big Bo and the Biscuit Eaters are not limited to music events only. They are also qualified motivational speakers and are often involved as a support group for other positive life choice organization events.
About The Band
Big Bo (Brian Owens) has been playing music on stage since he was a kid. He is a skilled guitar player with a heart for ministry. When he’s not working with his business he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and sinking his teeth into a perfectly grilled steak.
Big D (Dwayne Riche) is a seasoned drummer and avid athlete. He’s a deputy for the IA Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Department and a competitive cyclist. Dwayne enjoys working with his church, hanging out with his family, and finding the hottest (yet tasty…) sauce on the planet.
Big Dog (Jeff Kraft) has been playing in bands since he was a teenager. He’s an accomplished bass player, passionate biker, and minister in Council Bluffs, Iowa. When he’s not on his bike, smoking meat, or spending time with his family, Jeff enjoys pursuing his quest for the most perfectly barbecued meat.
