Album Notes

The Red Orchidstra first ventured out gigging at WKD's in Camden where it unveiled its version of 'Get Carter.' In fact it was both my and Dan's admiration for great movie soundtracks which had been one the motivating factors behind us forming The Orch. That, and our abiding love of 'groove' and 'feel', along with a defined sense of eclectica, made The Orch push the boundaries. Subsequently many gigs and outrageous perfomances later (including Time Out's accolade 'Oscar Wilde on acid..') along with the butt sweat of the road, ups, downs, lows, and euphoria, you name it - we did it, The Orch's come a long way since 'Get Carter' first hit the airwaves. Now after many requests for a re-release it's been digitally enhanced and re-mastered, and we're happy to oblige. Enjoy!
