Brother Believe Me hails from the rural/country area surrounding Lima, Ohio. Over the last 5+ years they have since been forming an outlaw country and hard rock hybrid. With their current lineup finalized in March of 2007, habitual rehearsals, and a commitment to the music, Brother Believe Me now finds themselves on top of their game. The band's influences include everything from the likes of ZZtop, Neil Young and Willie Nelson to the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alice in Chains and Tool. Bring this all together and what do you get!!?? Some good ole fashion head bobbin rock with a little country and metal thrown in to spice up the sonic stew. Brother Believe Me will be coming to rock your asses in a bar or club near you.........
Jesse Cole (guitar,vocals)- Jesse, 27 years old, was born in Lima, Ohio and raised near Lafayette, Ohio. He began playing bass at the age of 16, soon after turning to guitar. In this band he has taken on the role of lead vocalist in addition to playing rhythm guitar and some leads. He's heavily influenced by 90's rock such as Pearl Jam and Alice In Chains and by outlaw country and southern rock acts like Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson, Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd and similar acts.
Jason Wheeler (guitar)- Jason,28 years old, was born and raised in West Minster, OH. He began playing guitar at age 20 after being influenced by co-worker and fellow guitarist Dave Kerr (currently with "The Rock N' Roll Outlaws”). Jason learned quickly with the help of Dave and countless hours of independent practice and study. He is now a confident and capable player who enjoys the sounds and musical influences of Metallica, Black Label Society, Black Sabath, and Johnny Cash.
Josh Cole (Bass)- Josh, 30 and brother of Jesse brings his southern roots from his birthplace of Yellville, Arkansas. Josh started his musical journey on guitar in an effort to emmulate his childhood idols, Jimmy Hendrix and Jimmy Page. After playing in several bands without drummers, he took up percussion and played the tins and skins for 7 years in the band Stifle, before finally landing on his current instrument, bass guitar. Josh is a true utility musician, capable and comfortable in any position.
Brian Carpenter (Drums)- Brian, 29 has drum sticks in his hands ever since he can remember. It was inevitable that Brian would come to love the drums considering his grandfather was a big band drummer during the 2nd world war. Plenty of exposure to Buddy Rich and Gene Kruppa gave Brian a solid base to pursue his love of heavier breeds of music like Tool and Breaking Benjamin. After a 5 year stay with the traveling rock band Spendid Chaos, Brian got away from music for awhile. Now he has a renewed love for the drums with Brother Believe Me.
