Album Notes

Seattle guitarist Bob Crow has released his debut solo CD “Wet Paint.” The new CD is a collection of 12 original pop/rock songs featuring Bob’s clever guitar hooks and quirky lyrics. The music from “Wet Paint” has been drawing comparisons to eclectic artists such as Pink Floyd, Steely Dan, Radiohead, and Led Zeppelin.

Along with composing and producing all 12 tracks on “Wet Paint,” Bob handles all guitar, lead vocal, and bass duties. Guests include keyboardist Andrew Nelson (Sweet Lou, M-Set), who sits in on the Steely Dan-ish “Choose A Side” and the mock-ballad “I’m Allergic To Your Cat,” and vocalist Amy Weitz adds harmonies to funk-rock tune “Mushyfoot.”

Bob's sense of humor and musicianship shine through in Wet Paint!

Bob's sense of humor and musicianship really shine through in his first release, Wet Paint. Songs like Allergic To Your Cat and Mushyfoot show Bob's passion for rock/jazz styles and Zappa influenced humor. Bob has harder edges as well reflected by Walking Home and Put The Words Back In My Mouth. Mikey Like!
