Dr. Betsy Diamant-Cohen lived in Israel from 1986-1998 where she successfully incorporated the principles of Barbara Cass-Beggs’ Listen, Like, Learn approach into traditional library programs for children. Since returning to the U.S., Betsy has been working as a children’s librarian and programming specialist. In 2004, she was named by Library Journal as a Mover and Shaker in the library world. Her book, Mother Goose on the Loose, is available from Neal-Schumann publishers. For more information, visit Betsy’s Web site at www.mgol.org.
Pizzazz and creativity are two words that describe award-winning International singer-songwriter, Rahel, founder of the Israel branch of the Listen, Like, Learn Association. Her musical style runs the gamut of folk, country and bluegrass to compelling flamenco rhythms, gently flowing soothing melodies, haunting Middle Eastern minor modal tunes, children's songs that tickle the imagination.
