"B. Down - Welcome To Los Angeles."
The new (3rd) B. Down solo CD is now available.
Full of independent West Coast rap heat - a definite trunk-hitter with bangin' beats, combined with some of the rawest lyrics you'll hear.
The main singles promoted through the Los Angeles streets and on up to the Bay Area are "Chrome Deez," "Welcome To Los Angeles," and "I'm Takin' Over." Check out the song preveiws to see the level this album is on.
This is an all-out solo album - B. Down produced and wrote all tracks with no guest appearances.
If you like to ride down the block bumpin' West Coast Rap, this is the heat you need in your ride.

"strong smokey voice, and a confident delivery..."

Nice beat.
This is a well put together track. Starts right out with the hook, which I always enjoy. This guy has a strong smokey voice, and a confident delivery, which counts for more than some people thing. The hook reminds me of one of those old eighties EU funk hits. This guy is strong, I would like to hear the rest of the album (if there is one). I get the sensation from this track that this is a one-off track which is drasticly differant from his normal stuff. The production is tight, and the beat is well constructed. That high hat sits right on top of the mix, right where it should be. Nice effort.

Whoa!!

Whoa
At first, I was like...childish intro, must be childish tune. But man, when that beat came in, I was like, sh*t, I shoulda kept my damn mouth shut. It's TIGHT, yo! The intro was just previewing what's about to come. So in that respect, my hats off to the production of this track. Lead vocals had good tone and good rhythm. I especially liked the hook, though. The singing-rappin' gave the track some musical element that a lot of tunes need nowadays. Anyway, mix was well executed and the overall sound is just plain bangin'. I've said my peace.

Well crafted top to bottom. Well produced and mixed, i was feelin it. I could feel the old school west coast essence flowin through this cut.
