'Discoteca Latina' is a bridge between 'Bossa Beat Trip' and B-Dub's forthcoming full-length album, with another EP scheduled for Digital release in November 2009. This EP is a subtle shift from the Acid Jazz stylings found on 'Bossa Beat Trip' to a more dance-able Disco Funk groove, upbeat, uptempo, and Party Funk orientated. But that Latin feel is still maintained!
'Estile Del Disco' has been re-edited to reflect how it's mixed at a live set, both shorter and faster than the version on 'Bossa Beat Trip'. The remix by San Diego/Seattle based DJ / Producer Danny Massure is a high quality Dubby, Acid Jazzy take on this tune, in keeping with his distictive classy style. Great job!
'Ya Dig?' has it's roots in 70's Soundtrack Disco Funk, with a recurring Flute motif to tie the arrangements together, while 'Well Awright!' has a more modern Disco House take on an Azymuth styled tune. Again, Flute riffs and Horn lines help the arrangements breathe and groove.
Crank it or leave it on the downlow - either way, it's all good!
Also, remixes from BreakBeat Funk Artists such as Slynk, BadboE and Jayl Funk will be released in a new EP, featuring remixes of 'B-Funk' and 'Okay..Va!'. Stay tuned for more information in the next 2 months..
