Album Notes

B. Dupree was born and raised in Tupelo, Mississippi before his family decided to venture north. B. Dupree was influenced musically by his parents. His mother sang gospel and his father loved the blues greatest. Like so many others before him, B. Dupree got his hands on some performances by James Brown. From that moment,he knew he wanted to perform on stage. B. Dupree studied acting while playing various instruments. Because Dupree's voice is uniquely influenced, he enjoys artists such as Luther Vandross, Joe, Brian McKnight, Anthony Hamilton, Donell Jones, and Neo. Because music is where it's at, his debut album, Down South Music on the moving up label soon to be released. Dupree's music will have you singing and dancing along to the beat.
