Bea Ba se formó en las calles de Nueva York. Bea, líder y cantante, formó la banda en la primavera del 2001. Mezclando sonidos de rock caseros de NY. con rock nacional argentino y letras en castellano, inglés e italiano, con influencias tan diversas como Divididos, Sumo, Janis Joplin y hasta Mercedes Sosa. Así, la han llamado la PJ Harvey del Rock en Español con la energía de Gwen Stefani (de “No Doubt”) en el escenario. En menos de un año la banda empezó su gira por USA, tocó por toda la cuidad de NY en lugares legendarios como CBGBs, SOB (Sounds of Brazil), Le Bar Bat, Village Underground, Acme Underground, La Kueva, Café 77, La Amistad, La Oveja Negra, La Antequera...y actualmente en Argentina en el Hard Rock Cafe Buenos Aires, Kimia en Palermo y Mitos Argentinos en San Telmo.
Bea ha estado en las tapas de varios diarios en NY como en el “Hoy”, “Rock Clandestino”, “Divino Magazine”, “Boom Magazine”, y ha sido entrevistada por la radioemisora Latino Mix, Ultra Fusión Latina en NY, Eden Musical. de NJ y Frequencia Zero y de La Tribu de Buenos Aires.

Bea Ba was formed on the streets of New York. Bea, the singer and leader of the band created the band in the spring of 2001. Combining sounds of homegrown rock New York style with Argentine National Rock. With lyrics in Spanish and English and influences as diverse as Los Divididos, Sumo, Janis Joplin to Mercedes Sosa. They have referred to Bea as the PJ Harvey of Spanish Rock with the energy of Gwen Stefani (of “No Doubt”) on stage.
In less than a year the band began began to play throughout NYC and New Jersey Playing and headlining in legendary places such as CBGBs, SOBs (Sounds of Brazil), Le Bar Bat, The Village Underground, Acme Underground, La Kueva, Café 77, La Amistad, La Oveja Negra, La Antequera and currently in Argentina in the Hard Rock Cafe Buenos Aires, Kimia in Palermo and Mitos Argentinos in San Telmo.
