A few footnotes...
Mike Baerwalde's first single, "Find My Way Back Home" by HUGE BAER (a project with David Evan Hughes), received worldwide airplay in heavy rotation for a year and a half on Soldiers Radio Network (it was played for hundreds of thousands of U.S. Army and Air Force personnel around the world), and Mike was encouraged to continue writing and recording; thus, BEARWOODS was born.
Mike Baerwalde is currently playing bass and singing lead on a couple of songs in the band "As Is" (www.AcceptedAsIs.com).
For you classic rock and progressive rock fans, Mike's voice may sound familiar-his voice has been favorably compared with Greg Lake's voice (Greg Lake-from Emerson, Lake and Palmer, and the original King Crimson). A few years ago, Mike even worked as the frontman for TRILOGY, an ELP tribute band in N.E. Ohio.
Mike also played bass guitar for the Christian Pop/Rock band "IDENTITY" for most of 2004, with Sara Pechia, Identity's award-winning lead singer. (www.IdentityRocks.com).
