"TheSongOfTheDay.com - One band. One year. 365 songs." May, 2007. As the weather warms, Beatnik Turtle is still in the studio continuing their challenge to release 365 songs in one year.

May contains the next 31 tracks that would make up 1/12 of Beatnik Turtle's output for 2007. With 365 slots to fill up, Beatnik Turtle cranked the creativity knob to "11" and filled the month with geek pop-rock goodness covering everything from nudity ("I've No Pants") to cicada infestations ("King Of Cicada") and everything in between.

More highlights from May include:

"Dave, Where Are You Dave?" - an auditory exploration of the musical styles of the late 1960s, pondering the cosmic question of the whereabouts of Dave.

"Take It Down" - a plea for the neighbors to take down their Christmas decorations already.

"Old People" - a plaintive ballad about caring for the aged (and fighting the desire to run the slow bastards over).
