Album Notes

"TheSongOfTheDay.com - One band. One year. 365 songs."

July, 2007. Having passed the halfway mark, Beatnik Turtle digs ever deeper into the creative well as they continue their challenge to release 365 songs in one year.

July's 31 tracks puts Beatnik Turtle\'s total song output at 212 but with 153 songs left to go to fill the 365 slots, Beatnik Turtle cranked the creativity knob to "11" and filled the month with geek pop-rock goodness covering everything from noisy upstairs neighbors ("What The Hell Is Going On Upstairs?") to the operation of chemistry lab equipment ("Bunsen Burner") and everything in between.

More highlights from July include:

"Can I Help You Please?" - an anthem for retail workers everywhere.

"Do You Mind?" - an acoustic number that tells mobile phone users to put a sock in it.

"Lucky Seven" - a country song that tells the unfortunate story of what happens to a bar patron after consuming far too many vodka tonics.

"Kim Bailed" - a pop rock song about that one person you know who always has something better to do.

"Until My Parents Were Called" - an off-broadway musical number that reminisces about days past, pranks played, and getting busted by one's parents.

And many, many more.

Collect all 12 albums and enjoy Beatnik Turtle\'s amazingly rich and creative year of song-writing.
