Album Notes

"TheSongOfTheDay.com - One band. One year. 365 songs."

October, 2007. Autumn descends, leaves turn color, kids are out trick-or-treating and Beatnik Turtle is still in the studio ignoring the doorbell as they make more songs to continue their challenge to release 365 songs in one year.

October contains 31 more tracks that would make up 1/12 of Beatnik Turtle's output for 2007. With 365 slots to fill up, Beatnik Turtle cranked the creativity knob to "11" and filled the month with geek pop-rock goodness covering everything from drinking too much ("I Was Over Served") to intense paranoia ("When They've Come For You") and everything in between.

More highlights from October include:

"Things That Keep Me Up At Night" - a song about all the great mysteries of life that one ponders while trying to sleep.

"The Loofah Song (Heed The Loofah)" - a jaunty little number that tells the story of a man who is a bit slow to realize his wife is cheating on him, even after he finds a clue in the loofah.

"The Bong Song" - a ska song that dramatizes the effects THC has on one\'s ability to locate the bong.

"Who's Been Looking At Porn On My New Computer?" - a ballad that asks the musical question and unfortunately gets a musical answer about all the things you don't want to see browsed on your new computer.

And many, many more.

Collect all 12 albums and enjoy Beatnik Turtle's amazingly rich and creative year of song-writing.
