What exactly is going on here? That joyful noise you hear is called Texas Swing - an eclectic blend of jazz, swing, country, bluegrass, blues and boogie-woogie. Invented "way down Texas way" in the 1930's by a cigar-chompin' part-time barber named Bob Wills, Texas swing blends the sounds of traditional big-band jazz with the western style influences of fiddle and steel guitar. Western swinging, bluesy, jumping, country-ish, jazzy, and classy as hell!

Shockingly classy and beautiful, every element of this LIVE recording is exactly as it should be. The first thing that strikes one while listening to the track one is the silky smooth and feel good vocals of Wendi Bourne. But as you listen on to the CD, you soon realize that the instrumentation is on a level seldom heard in a live show! The delicate harmonies of all four group members are as sweet as honey. Watch out for some incredible scatting as the show progresses. This is a feel-good recording, perfect background music for a dinner party, perfect foreground music for a summer drive with the top down on a windy road.
