Beaucoup Blue are always first-rate live and this CD has that same solid energy and captivating musicianship. Every cut on this record is strong. This is a bluesy and an extremely creatively made CD. Adrian and David Mowry are consumate singers and guitarists and there's not an insipid lick on the record. Very highly recommended.

I first heard Beaucoup Blue in Virginia in 2006 and have followed them ever since-have all their cd's. This one did not disappoint and I have played it constantly. David and Adrian are fantastic!

These guys are great. This time here is not much traditional stuff (except for a great version of Hesitation Blues). Modern acoustic blues at its best.

Genuine in every way!

I’m a huge fan of this duo, and this their third release expands on their powerful work to date, with fresh original songwriting, vocal harmonies and fine acoustic guitar and dobro work. There are many highlights on this excellently produced offering; Slide-dobro man and philosopher Dave serves as our troubled oracle on “Oh America” while songwriter Adrian hypnotizes with powerful emotion on "Desert Spring" and again on “No Friend of Money.” And Melody Gardot’s voice will simply make you smile when she joins in on “Bluer than Midnight”, with a most beautiful vocal timbre to compliment Dave’s velvet smooth voice. Then there’s the romping and rockin’ “Hesitation Blues” and a could-be-Elvis title track accompanied by female vocal trio “Red Molly.” Yes, highly recommended CD: but see them live when you get a chance to see great artists at work!
