Blending rhythms and melodies from the folk traditions of his Yoruba culture with personal influences, singer/songwriter and bandleader, Segun Akinlolu/Beautiful Nubia has created an original form of music that defies classification. Performed in both English and Yoruba, his songs are loaded with universal social and political messages, complemented by soulful vocals and dexterous performances by his fourteen-member band.

'Jangbalajugbu', his biggest-selling effort to date has sold in excess of a million copies in his native Nigeria and beyond.
