Becc Lester began singing before she could read. While in college working towards a degree in music, she won numerous talent contests both in Arkansas and Tennessee. In 1992, Inside Sounds began working with her and she quickly became recognized as one of Memphis' most promising singers.
Her singing has received critical acclaim in virtually every publication that has reviewed her. She is a soloist in both Opera Memphis and The Memphis Vocal Arts Ensemble. She is a rare talent who is comfortable singing almost any style of music.
Her debut release Circles Of Angels features "Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled," a powerful ballad that was included as a bonus track to the CD Music Aboard The Titanic. On April 14, 1998, she performed that song on national television on The Home Shopping Network resulting in an almost immediate sell-out. All of the songs on this CD reveal a singer capable of expressing love and spirituality with a sensitivity of which few artists can compare. As musical director of Unity Church in Memphis, it is a known fact that many people of that congregation gather to experience the miracle of her talent.
