Album Notes

diGregorio's music is an artful balance of rock and edgy pop with a hint of psychedelic and middle-eastern influences. From acoustic and electric guitars to sitar and middle-eastern percussion, diGregorio's diverse musical interests and choice of instrumentation blend together into a sea of cohesive sound.

Some of the most respected and talented musicians from Northern California and abroad contribute their talents to her music, including John Wedemeyer on guitar, Endre Tarczy on bass and keyboards, and Lyle Workman (Beck, Jellyfish, Todd Rundgren, Frank Black) on guitar and keyboards.

Special guest Dave Gregory, formerly of Britain's XTC, returns once again, adding his signature stylings on acoustic and electric guitars and mellotron. The result is an amalgamation of style and sound that transports the listener on alternating waves of rock and trance. "god's empty chair" also features a cover of the previously unreleased Andy Partridge (XTC) song "Susan Revolving."
