Album Notes

The 1st album from the Beefeater Project was a 2 year endeavor recorded at the end of the 20th century. Employing a 4 track reel to reel, Dean Avants and J.B. Sullivan wrote and recorded the album as they went. The result was a unique blend of Psychedelia, Country, Blues, Folk, and Rock that fit somewhere between the Lo-Fi recordings and the alt country movement of the 1990s. Influenced mostly by classic 60s and 70s music, TBP are capable of sounding as heavy as Led Zeppelin or as laid back as the Byrds. The album includes cameos from friends and the cds are completely handmade by the band. Check it out
