Life it is said "is a journey." I too, agree with this perspective, and about ten years ago, for a few seconds, my ended. I was the passenger in a car involved, in an accident, the story is that while in the ambulance being raced to the hospital, my heart stopped, they paddled me back, a few seconds later. Upon regaining consciousness, I was told I had broken my spine in three places and would never walk again. I was then informed it was unlikely I would regain use of my arms also. I felt differently, and began to move my hands almost at once. It took many long hard months of recovery, but I did regain about 85% of my strength and movement back.
That time really gave me the opportunity to ask what I truly wanted out of life? What was my dream? Music was the answer! So I started connecting with folks, and slowly learning all I could about music and sound, and communication. I trying my palms at hand drumming, I wet my lips on the harmonica. I stretched my fingers to bend the notes of a guitar, ect... I've played in rock band, I've played Jazz, blues, funk, reggae, metal, soul, ska, country, Jam, almost everything all in hopes of refining and learning from the sounds.
These days I've built a little studio in my house, and i' blessed to be surrounded by a world of talented musicians, so I either invite folks to record with my, or lay the tracks down myself, the go to town, editing and making samples, looping parts, laying more tracks down. Until there is something really worth giving a listen to! I thank you for being part of this endless conversation! ALLoneLOVE
