Album Notes

... in the long run we want something new and sexy.

Jens Beese and Paul Brtschitsch are playing live – with machines.
… in the long run is elektro meets breaks meets dub meets jazz meets funk meets rock meets triphop, or you may call it … pop, or better: phuture pop.

Paul Brtschitsch created and defined his very own style over the years with numerous releases on top labels like Frisbee before he started his own label Taksi Records. Long before his highly acclaimed collaboration with Dr. Atmo for Kitty Yo where he was compared with Massive Attack he was already a well known name in the international electronic scene.

… in the long run shows a new facet of his capability. Paul is a minimalist and a master when it gets to reduce to the max. His musicality enables him to create complex rythmstructures which fascinate his audience. He played live on all big festivals in Germany and on many abroad.

Jens Beese is touring since 1999 as live-act in Clubs and on Festivals presenting his special sound located somewhere between funky techno and electronic rock.
Jens met Paul in a club and they planned to produce one song together. What started with one track led finally to a whole album where Jens’ voice comes into its own.

… in the long run has distinctive and new sounds. The album is pretty versatile without losing its focus. Beese & Brtschitsch are eclectic when it comes to transforming stylistic influences.
Experimental, never noisy. Entertaining, never trivial. … in the long run is up to date, interesting and honest.

if you are after some experimental chillout music with a jazzy touch, check this

(...) Most of the tracks have a jazzy vibe. In general easy listening, but with some rough edges added to it. Most of the tracks are quite experimental, within beats and sounds. We also get a lot of vocals and beautiful vibes in here, but it never becomes too cheesy or easy digestible. I like the variation we get here, mostly with dubby beats and a few electro influences.
