Beethoven's Wig takes on the greatest piano masterpieces as they sing along to Richard Perlmutter's witty, irreverent and humorous lyrics set to the works of Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, Brahms, Schumann and Debussy, as well as modern masters Stravinsky, Schoenberg and Cowell. Also included are Perlmutter's hysterical renditions of The "Entertainer" by Joplin, and the famous "Chopsticks". Beethoven's Wig: Sing Along Piano Classics was recorded at the legendary Village Recorders in Los Angeles and the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion at the Music Center. As on all Beethoven's Wig albums, Perlmutter handles the lead vocals backed by an all-star cast including Elin Carlson, Jennifer Barnes, Jonathan Mack and Michael Geiger. Noted conductor, vocalist and pianist Grant Gershon plays piano on all selections.
