Album Notes

Bekay’s Livin’ My Dream is yet another impressive declaration from this New York City phenomenon, featuring a collection of tracks which threatens to
launch the determined artist to the next level of popularity.

Livin’ My Dream, released by Bekay’s original label, TSOB Records, features an innovative cover of Paul McCartney’s “Open the Door (Let ‘Em In).” Also
on the track list is a stunning remix of “Where Brooklyn At,” which was originally recorded in 2004 with Old Dirty Bastard (R.I.P.) as one of the final songs
the iconic New York rapper appeared on before he passed away. “Grab Someone” also graces the record, and was recently featured as a Don King Fight Promotion song.

With comparisons to Big L, Big Pun, Triple Seis, and Eminem, Bekay continues his journey to hip hop stardom with each catchy mixtape verse and every
jam-packed club appearance.

Hi Bekay I found this review of your album written by Dan MacIntosh and I think it's a great review for you. "White rap can sometimes be divided into two categories. There is the poser side, which includes jokers like Vanilla Ice. Then there is the real deal realm, which is where Eminem and few others reside in its rarified air. The good news is that Bekay leans much closer to the cool side, than the fool side. He has a vivid imagination, a way with words and a good feel for music that sounds good. He brags a lot, which is actually a good thing when it comes to rap music. After all, that’s what the early pioneers of the genre did, so he’s just carrying on a long and respected tradition" I'm continuing to listen to your songs and enjoying your music!

First hiphop album i enjoyed ! While listening to it i came across en review from Matthew Forss on the blog Inside World Music ! He wrote: "Bekay's amped-up rap-infused tracks from Brooklyn, New York are in-your-face and ready to take America by storm. The twelve tracks are actually five different tracks with various remixes (both clean and explicit) of each track. At any rate, Bekay's lyrical delivery is a bit slower than Eminem, but no less fascinating. Interestingly, only three tracks are original: "Grab Someone," "Livin' My Dream," and "Fuk U." The original songs and remixes include hard-hitting lyrics about relationships, partying, urban lifestyles, and celebrating rap/hip hop culture. "Open The Door (Let 'em In)" is a rap cover of Paul McCartney's song. Also, "Where Brooklyn At" is a cover of the late-Old Dirty Bastard's hit song. Bekay incorporates a bit of shout-outs, indiscriminate vocals, and a party-like atmosphere with electronic wizardry, tight percussion sets, and urban dance grooves. Fans of rap and hip hop will love the music of Bekay, even though the album is a little short and if it includes seemingly senseless remixes and edits. Start a party on the streets with Bekay today!
