Album Notes

Peggy Watson and David Beldock are two of San Diego's most established and respected singer-songwriters. For years, they have performed as solo artists, as a duo, and with various bands. Both are award-winning songwriters who have shared stages with artists such as Dave Carter, Tom Paxton, Barnaby Finch, Berkley-Hart, Lisa Sanders, Deborah Liv Johnson, and many others. Referring to her most recent solo-album, the San Diego Troubadour wrote, "Folk music master, Peggy Watson, delivers a masterpiece…" Her music has been featured on folk music radio shows across the country. David Beldock's solo CD "A View from Here," was nominated in the Best Adult Contemporary category of the San Diego Music Awards. His song, "Feel the Wind," won a second place prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Both Beldock and Watson are known for their rich emotion-filled voices and their stellar musicianship. In addition to producing several solo CDs, they have provided vocal and instrumental support on dozens of other artists' albums.

Peggy and David's first duo CD "Just Like You and Me" has arrived at last. All but one of the songs are original compositions. With the help of producer/musician Jeff Berkley, they created an album that truly represents what they do in live performances.
