Montreal's Benjamin Russell is originally from Saskatoon. Sampled pop folk rock, DECEMBER is a single from Benjamin Russell's ROCKHILL CD (songs from a high rise hideaway).

DECEMBER has been compared in sound to Roxy Music and David Bowie.

Billing himself as "trans-genre", Russell is fiercely original, drawing from his folk roots but combining this with elements of his punk rock days and his electronic 80's pop. His song, "Miracle" was a hit on CFNY back in the 80's when he was nominated most promising male vocalist in the nationally televised CASBY awards.
