I heard Ben broke like 50 medium acoustic guitar strings while making this album due to a minor brigde issue on his Washburn acoustic. He apparently refused to use another guitar for a few songs and wouldn't wait for repairs to be made before the sessions were recorded.I believe this is a world record for one player using that many sets of strings in any recording session in the history of guitar playing. His sales reciepts for a 3 week period show more string purchases ever made for one person in such a small amount of time. This merit alone get an award.

Ben has a real serious look on the back cover of this CD. black and white is old school. This guy is one serious guitar player. I heard he can also track any animal through any terrain and still have time to make homemade soup on the way. That must be an Apache trait. Happy New Year Ben, After Chicago its off to see the festival at San Carlos. From your friends in the Oxbow
