The View From Above is the second release by Bennett Brandeis and it consists of all original music in a contempory Jazz/World based style. A good vibe runs consistant thoughtout the CD with warm tunes and guitar playing on a high level, reminiscent of John Mclaughlin at times. This CD is a transition between the 1st CD Jazz Guitar and the 3rd, Storytelling.On this CD, Bennett's original concepts come into focus as a writer and player. Bennett composed, arranged and produced the CD as well as engineered and mastered it.
