I've been playing guitar for about 10 years now. My brother Dan and I used to jam out with me on guitar and him on drums. Besides 2 years with the Knobbs, the band thing never really materialized. He went on to join a progressive rock band (Kilowatthours) and I continued to write songs.
We had a party many moons ago and a friend of ours (Carl Clark) came over. He had just put out his first cd and we were talking shop. He had recording equipment and asked me to come over to record a song. Well, I did and loved it. I asked him if we could record an album of acoustic songs - keeping it simple but enticing.
The song topics range from a metaphorical distance from the sun ("Aphelion") to a song about Prince William's struggle ("Be Strong") to a mystical box that temporarily tears a love apart ("Box in the Road") to a searching of happiness, not necessarily love ("Let") and to a plea to the patron saint of music ("Searching for St. Cecilia").
I really hope you enjoy the Acoustic Lighthouse Experiment. That's a name that just came to me while driving one day, besides the fact its acronym is ALE. It's a mixture of many moods and types of songs. Enjoy!
Also, be on the look-out for a blues album in the near future (Spring/Summer 2006). It is stemming from my love of blues and my trip to Mississippi in December 2003. I'm working on the songs and lyrics right now. I'm getting excited about it. Thanks for your support. Best wishes.

I remember the first time I heard this cd it was like a metamorphisis to my senses. Box in the Road makes you philosophise on your own exsistence, and Be Strong is an eery reminder that although there are several classes to our society we all feel uneasy and vulnerable. But the best song on the cd atleast to this hip home boy is "Everytime". This song reminds me of every first kiss with every girl I have dated......which means one,,,,,,and speaking of one this is the one cd you must have for pure emotion and feeling.............Peace and Love and enjoy this CD
