Album Notes

Ben Rudnick & Friends three studio recordings have won many (many, many) awards from the likes of Parents' Choice, John Lennon Songwriting Contest, the Children's Music Web, NAPPA and iParenting. Their most recent disc Blast Off received four stars from Downbeat Magazine. With all the recognition for their studio work, BR&F is first and foremost a live band. Playing an adventurous, high-energy blend of happy, upbeat acoustic music BR&F takes off and takes you with them. Blending musical styles from bluegrass to reggae, their live shows are events. Everyone is invited.

Live at the Playground WERS 88.9FM was recorded at the band's fourth visit to the Emerson College radio station. The band is comfortable and they're letting it fly, Live at the Playground is what it's all about.

Wonderful band, cool little live cd. My family have gone to many Ben Rudnick and Friends shows and they're great live. Yhis is a nice little sampler of what you'll get, and the music is great for kids and adults too! C'mon Ben, time for a Cowgirl Song>Bird Song>Cowgirl Song pairing.
