Album Notes

If asked in what genre of music "Antique Noises" belongs, one would certainly

be stumped. No answer! Ben, who is branded by his acoustic sound, meshes

well with producer Britt Lloyd, who is identified by his rock and electric

style. The one quality shared by each song in this eclectic mix is its ability to

relate to the life and experiences of the listener. Ben's introspective

songwriting style draws from difficulties and complexities of life he has

encountered along with the consequences of choices he has made. Whether

the listener hangs on to every word, or is simply seeking entertaining music

"Antique Noises," is equipped for the job.

Exhibiting an array of talents, Ben displays his abilities as a balladeer

with the title track "Antique Noises," a heartbreaking story about a veteran

of a distant war. He also tells a tragic love story with "Meg" and explores the

effects of paranoia with "Window Blinds."

Ben Schane's songwriting skills coupled with the musical capacities and creativity

of Musician/Producer Britt Lloyd and award winning Sound Engineer Adam Odor

create "Antique Noises," a distinctively refreshing break from the monotony of

all that is main stream.
