When they are gone the album will be reissued as Bobby Deal. There will never be another release under the name Bobby Bensley. So if you have one of the original "Bensley" versions of the disk you have 1 of a limited edition of 100.
Bobby Deal is a solo singer songwriter who started his musical career in Colorado and has been involved with the distribution and promotion of music online for the past several years. As a singer songwriter Bobby is influenced by the world he sees around him. Often times dark and always poignantly emotional Bobby writes and sings with the courage of his convictions and is not afraid to tackle the tough subjects in his songs.
If you don't want to be moved at an emotional and spiritual level by the music you listen to then DO NOT LISTEN to Bobby Deal. However if you are searching for music with strong lyrical content, performed by a serious and passionate artist then your search is over. Bobby Deal's music is quite simply put Folk Rock With Teeth.
Bobby Deal is also the founder and president of CMAP Music International a multifaceted Indie Music Publishing Company serving top Indie artists world wide. Offering Indie artists an inside track into licensing their music for use in Television and Film. CMAP will gladly accept your unsolicited submissions for consideration for licensing and publishing. Email Bobby at bobby@cmapmusic.com for submission details and current opportunities.
In August of 2001 Bobby and CMAP organized and hosted the biggest Indie Music Festival ever held in the state of Colorado. Spanning three days from August 3rd thru the 5th The CMAP Global Web Concert For Youth saw 41 acts grace the stage of The Duke of Windsor, in Windsor Colorado. The event, which was a charity effort raised money for a new Youth Activity Center in the region. Local government officials deemed the event a great success and it was Bobby's last effort in Colorado.
On August 15th he relocated to Southern California where he joined JavaMusic.com to head their A&R staff. While at Java Bobby had the opportunity to work with a great many gifted artists and was responsible for all on site as well as off site promotional efforts offered the artists of JavaMusic. While there Bobby and the A&R staff of Java sought out the best artists in the Indie world and provided them with key promotional and marketing opportunities.
Now that his duties at Java have concluded he has returned to the helm of CMAP Music International, which is rapidly becoming known as "The Indie Artists Gateway To Television And Film." As a result of his extensive experience in online promotions Bobby has become recognized as one of the Internets top promoters of Indie music and continues today to devote music more of his efforts to the promotion and distribution of the many hugely talented artists of the CMAP Records roster.
Bobby is currently writing new material for an anticipated project with his father Don Deal that is slated to be recorded in England with Rock Star Records.
