Album Notes

From lyrical tales of love and loss, to witty commentary on the human condition, each song in Ben Swift’s debut solo release, Pull, is a window into the mind of an incisive singer/songwriter. In addition to playing most of the instruments—including acoustic and electric guitars, mandolin, gitorgan, and National Steel—Ben co-produced and engineered the record in his studio in Western Massachusetts. By turns lush and spare, the production powerfully supports the collection of fourteen roots-rock songs. Ben is also a professional photographer and his images are featured in the CD art, providing an elegant visual complement to the music. A dynamic performer, Ben is a compelling, multi-faceted artist with a distinctive voice.
